DELIVERING QUALITY WORK OUTPUT

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined ... - Eph. 2:10

You cannot make a hit with your boss if you are unwilling to give a good account of yourself in the task jobbed out to you. Delivering quality work output is preceded by the will to make a difference in what you do. Hence, if you lack the drive to turn in work output that makes the grade, you can never be ranked in the company of high-flyers. However, for your work to gain acceptance, you must strive to give it your best shot.

It goes without saying that the work output you turn in to your boss will make him or her to form a perception of your personality and attitude towards your work. If it turns up that you have a reputation for screwing up your work, your boss will lose confidence in your deliverable. And your chances of being upgraded will certainly be jeopardised. This speaks to why you must get religion about your work. You need to pull out all the stops to get yourself in the spotlight and not take a backseat while others are being commended for their top shelf performance.

If you desire to deliver excellent result, you need to have the right attitude towards your work. You cannot afford to be the weak link in the chain. If you are not adding value to your work, you may not be roped into a task that requires team members to wear their thinking cap. While under the influence of God’s inspiration, Joseph demonstrated that he had the key to forestall the impending starvation that would have ravaged the land of Egypt. His recommendations weren’t squashed by King Pharaoh because they were endorsed as the appropriate course of action to be implemented. As you go this week, may you be inspired to deliver top notch results in Jesus name.
