THE WINGS OF SALVATION

Then, He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. - Psalm 91:4

There is no hiding place for a sinner when the whirlwind of destruction begins to blow over the face of the world. God will not extend His everlasting arms to him because he does not acknowledged God as the Author of Salvation. When a sinner assumes that his strength will deliver him in the day of adversity, he will soon realise that there his human strength is exceedingly limited. As for the righteous, the name of the Lord represents a strong tower and the Lord will receive him with His wings of salvation, to keep him high and dry.

The time is drawing near when the world will be in chaos and people will run from pillar to post. They will look for safety where it does not exist because they have chosen not to find solace in God’s wings of salvation. If you distance yourself from God’s wings of salvation, the whirlwind of this world will blow you into the dish of no return. When the Lord God delivered Israel from the house of bondage, He bore them on eagle’s wings. When troubles begins you blow fiercely, you can count on God to bear you on His wings of salvation to keep you above the stormy wind.
