But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of Mine to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the descendants of Israel - Acts 9:15
Any pursuit that does not stand well with God cannot stand the test of time. Any effort geared towards pursuing a cause that is inconsistent with the mandate of God for your life will hit a brick stone. Instead of living a life that is at variance with God’s mandate, rather choose to realign yourself with what God has predestined you to become. For instance, the pursuit of a trade or profession because of its prestige or lucrativeness may not necessarily be in consonance with what God has ordained or endorsed for your life. Hence, it is in your best interest to align yourself with God’s mandate. You cannot afford to be a square peg in a round hole when God has fashioned you to fit in perfectly into His divine cause for your life.
Apostle Paul was preoccupied with the self-imposed mission of persecuting the Early Church. He considered the persecution of the Early Church has a prestigious and remarkable pursuit, which he recognized as a show of zeal for God. Because his understanding was darkened, he ran afoul of God’s mandate for his life. However, when he had an encounter with God on the road to Damascus, while on the mission to play havoc against the Church, his profile was switched over from being a persecutor to a preacher of the Gospel.
The one (Apostle Paul) who had always been on the move to endanger the lives of the saints became a pillar and tower of strength to the Church. The conversion of Saul paid off to the universal Church, because he became the author of the abundant riches and revelation of Christ. If you are living a life that is apart from God’s purpose, you will of course preclude yourself from living a fulfilled and purposeful life. May you experience a divine encounter to keep you in perfect alignment with God’s mandate for your life, to frustrate the devil’s scheme to short-change you of the joy of fulfilled destiny in Jesus name.
