BEYOND THE AVERAGE

The three broke through the Philistine lines, drew some water from the well by the gate in Bethlehem, and brought it back to David. But he refused to drink it. Instead, he poured it out as an offering to the LORD - 2 Samuel. 26: 13

Anyone who desires to be in the spotlight mustn't be indisposed to prioritizing the pursuit of excellence. The journey between the ordinary life and the extraordinary life requires an unmitigated focus and passion to deliver top shelf result. Hence, making it to the list of great achievers requires one to do something out of the ordinary.

The three mighty men of King David had every reason to play it safe in getting a drink on the king's request. They were faced with limitation that would have made them to fetch for a drink that does not fit for a king. However, because they prized excellence above average result, they stuck out their necks for the king and broke through the camp of their enemies to fetch the water of the first quality for the king.

Do you have a reputation for going over and above the average to bring in a touch of excellence to what you do? If not you may want to consider the huge dividend it pays in lieu of doing what pleases the average mind. If your work must be on  the radar, it has to be such that draws and attracts positive commendable and applause.  Inasmuch as you have the potential to transit from the average to the platform of excellence, then bust a move and make your work a reflection of excellence. May the Lord make you an eternal excellence through the agency of the grace He supplies for maximum impact in Jesus name
