THE REPORT OF THE LORD

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? -  Isaiah 53:1

Every report that is not in alignment with the mandate of God for your life is merely a false report, as long as you have God as your Ultimate Source. Whatsoever report that does not proceed from God may be a scheme to deceive and instill fear in you. The devil may want to prefer charges against you, in order to make you lose the preferential treatment you enjoy as a faithful disciple of Christ. He may decide to pull a stunt on you, through false allegation, as part of his effort to hunt you down. However, every report that does not carry the divine seal of the Lord is only meant to inspire fear in you; so you must jettison it and hold firm to the Lord’s report.

The report of the Lord is the divine statement that certifies your well-being, prosperity and greatness. It is the report that unveils the mind of God to you, even in the times of adversity. When the children of Israel were held captive by the Babylonians, God asked Jeremiah to read out His assurance report of the bright tomorrow He had encrypted for them. God assured them that His plan for them is all round goodness without any ravaging intention, and to enable them attain a colourful future.

Hence, whenever the devil attempts to stuff your heart with thoughts meant to dampen your hope of a bright tomorrow, you can shut him up and reduce him to absolute silence, based on the assurance you have from the Lord. Whatsoever God has guaranteed about your tomorrow cannot turn out to yield the tree of sorrow. Once you are divinely served with an assurance report that all will be well with you, you can tell the devil not to waste his breath because God has the final say over your life. I pray every ordinance that negates the divine mandate of the Lord over your life shall be nullified, to allow room for you to be glorified in Jesus name.
