THE ULTIMATE HARVEST

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. -  Rev. 14:19

In one of my unpublished books, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,  I discussed the dimensions of harvest of prayers a believer could reap and shared some thoughts on the ultimate harvest. In order to make you enjoy everything that pertains to life and godliness, the Lord God makes you to occupy the position of the harvester of His goodness. After you must have harvested His good treasure and fought the good fight of faith to the very end,  the Lord God becomes the Harvester of your soul from the earth to His eternal abode. If after you might have reaped the harvests of your prayers here on earth and you stray away from the true way leading to eternal life, then all your earthly rewards are mere vanities.

Hence, everything you acquire without Christ is vanity. Everything a man acquires apart from the kingdom of God makes him a cast away on the day of doom. Every ambition and aspiration that will make your soul to end up in the horrible repository of eternal torment is a monumental loss. Hence,  as you reap the harvest of God's manifold goodness, never lose sight of partaking in the ultimate harvest during which there would be divine transplantation of God's people from the earth to their eternal abode in heaven. While some will be transplanted into the horrible pit of hell, those who build their hope in Christ and on His righteousness will be transplanted into His heavenly abode.

In the context of agriculture,  and in a bid to delineate the concept of divine transplantation, the earth could be likened to a nursery section wherein souls of the sons of men are nurtured for a while. While the ungodly are choked by weeds,  representing cares of this world and they wind up in hell. The righteous, through the supernatural dynamics of the rapture, are transplanted from the face of the earth, so they could escape the Great Tribulation that would befall those who would not be raptured. Therefore,  it is not in your best interest for you to miss the rapture,  which is the ultimate harvesting of the souls of the saints from the face of the earth into heaven, where they shall behold the face of God and worship before His presence in eternity. As you choose to live for God alone, may your soul not be harvested from this world into hell but rather into God's eternal abode where the praise of God will never end.
