BEFORE YOU HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

and David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?" "Pursue them," he and were . "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue." -  1 Samuel 30:8

If you must achieve your goals, you can’t afford to run around in circles. You need to identify the right road map that will make you to reach your destination at the right time. Of course, it does not make horse sense to hit the ground running by hit or miss. Those who make out time to hash out the plan for their journey in life are able to tell which way the wind is blowing and are able to swim with the tide that will get them to the destination they desire. Hence, when you run as one chasing shadows, you run the risk of channeling off your efforts in the wrong direction, which does not bear on your mission in life.

In a bid to reach your goal, you need to CONSULT WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE that matters to the actualization of your goal, who have been positioned to help you maximize your potential. It is every essential you observe this before you hit the ground running, because it affords you valuable opportunities and insight that could shape your mind for success. Consultation helps you make intelligent decisions while leveraging on the gray matter of deep thinkers. However, where the intelligence of men fails, God’s intelligence remains the only source of inspiration that stands the test of time. Before going after the Amalekites, David inquired of the Lord on whether to pursue them for possible recovery of all that the Amalekites carted away. He knew his human intelligence and military expertise may fail him. Hence, he opted in for the wisdom of God.

Had David not resolved in his mind to pursue the Amalekites on God’s instruction, his desired mission would have been crippled by the fear of defeat. Hence you need to DISSOLVE THE FEAR OF FAILURE and every form of fear that will throw cold water on your drive to rise to the challenge ahead of you. Having dissolved your fears and doubts, you need to give evidence of your readiness to reach your goals. Hence you need to DISPLAY THE MUCH REQUIRED EFFORT to live up to your dreams and attain the height you desire. Endeavour to make an all-out effort to hit the mark regardless of limitations. Put differently, you need to put up a brave front to excel against all odds and you will have reasons to celebrate while others are bitching about their inadequacies. May you not blow off the opportunities at your reach to attain sterling performance in the pursuit  of your goal in Jesus name.
