People who are credited with great accomplishment
don't chicken out when they are faced with a daunting responsibility. They put
up a brave front to solve problems. When a task appears to be a tall order,
they never throw up their hands in despair. They understand that the longest
way round is the shortest way home. In order words, people who end up
accomplishing a task in spades choose to be painstaking and pull out all the
stops even when the deck is stacked against them.
When the time was ripe for Joshua to lead the
children of Israel, after the death of Moses, it became essential for Joshua to
rise to the challenge. It took some doing for Moses to bring the children of
Israel out of the house of bondage. For Joshua, it was time to play the first
chair but it was certain that he had heaven's back up. Hence, God's charge to
Joshua was for him to be courageous. Hence, you need to have the COURAGE of
your convictions to square up to difficult challenges. Secondly, you need to
CLOSE the door of your heart to the thought of impossibility. When you choose
to think positive when the cards are stacked against you and when nothing
significant seem accomplishable, you need to be optimistic to see the light at
the end of the tunnel. And if you will not be half-hearted but rather be poised
for action, you will see that your effort will begin to blossom out.
Some people bomb out of their projects because they
fail to take the bold step to consult. When a task appears to be beyond
your ken, it is not out of place to check
with people who are ahead of you. Instead of screwing up on your work
and have the riot act read to you, it will be beneficial you to draw on the
experience of those who have been around. Above all, you can talk to God for lasting
solution to complex problem. When Jesus asked Philip on what could be done to
feed 5,000 people, Jesus asked the Father to bless the five loaves of
bread and two fishes that was brought forward by a small boy. His prayer turned
out to be a great harvest of abundance that met the need of the multitude
beyond the expectation of the disciples of Jesus. Hence, I pray the Lord help
you to succeed beyond your imagination when it seems as if you cannot make
headway any more, in Jesus name.
