It
is humanly impossible to serve God faithfully and acceptably without relying on
His grace. The grace of God is the divine grease that keeps you going when
others are falling by the way side. But those who assume that their might is sufficient
to carry them thorough, never get to the end of the road. When a believer gets
to the point when he assumes that his human strength can guarantee his victory
over the devil, he has actually gotten to a point of delusion. Hence, as a good
steward of God, you shouldn’t be weary of drawing new strength to forge ahead
in your pilgrimage with God.
Those
that wait upon the Lord don’t faint in the days of adversity. If you wait
frequently upon the Lord in prayers and intimate communion, the gate of hell
won’t be able to resist your advancement. As long as you keep waiting on the
Lord, new strength would be poured out on you to keep you fit and strong, so
you could reach your goal. Elijah wouldn’t have reached a high point in his
ministry if he didn’t put on a new strength, powered by his feasting on the
divine meal that was sent to him by the angel of the Lord. Hence, feasting on the
Bread of Life and blood of Christ is a sure source of divine energy renewal, to
keep you spiritually fit for tireless walk with God.
Anyone
who chooses to walk with God in humility qualifies for daily divine renewal of
strength. The Bible says God gives more grace to the humble but He resists the
proud. A proud fellow is beclouded from seeing why He needs God to keep him in
the race to his ultimate destination. While a humble fellow acknowledges the
fact that he will crumble if he gambles on his human strength to finish strong.
Hence, he frequently runs to God for the divine exchange of his weakness for a
new strength. Undoubtedly, humility is what keeps you going before God’s
presence to pray and seek God’s face for more grace and strength to progress in
your walk with God. May you not wear out as you daily put on new strength from
above, to keep you running passionately and purposefully without being weary in
Jesus name.
