BE SINGLE-MINDED

Set your sight on things above, not on things on the earth – Col. 3:2

People that are single-minded are usually being profiled as successful and impactful personality. They are more than a notch higher than people who allow themselves to be sidetracked. The reason why many end up half way in their life’s pursuit is attributable to their lack of focus. When you juggle aspirations or pursuits that are grossly incompatible in actualizing your potential, you may end up with broken dreams. Whatsoever your dreams are, they will only see the light of day if you are single-minded. If you want people to profile you as an accomplished personality, you must be ready to draw the line between the pleasure that take you nowhere and the pains that turn your efforts to gains.

Being single-minded helps you to develop the horsepower to be persistent. It helps you pull out the stops and keeps you going like clockwork. When you focus on what gives you the greatest joy, you will not chase after pleasure that will make you wind up as a miserable person. People that keep their shoulder on the wheel are usually up to speed in whatsoever they do. While people that are receptive to mundane offers and corruptible pleasure usually misappropriate the window of opportunity that they could have milked dry to their advantage.

When a man embraces and combines corruptible pleasure, materialism and lustful passion with any dignifying pursuit, his destiny will be adulterated. When you stay focused, you will not come across as someone who is confused. Therefore, you need to keep doing those things that will not dampen your hope of a bright tomorrow. This will enable you to keep off from dozens of aspirations that are not worth the trouble. May you not shortchange yourself by distractions that are schemed to get you sidetracked from your earnest pursuit to reach your goal in Jesus name.
