And we have a priceless
inheritance--an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled,
beyond the reach of change and decay. I Peter 1:4
Those who are made visually
impaired by the devil cannot experience the illumination of God’s light upon
their lives. Once a man is beclouded by the enticement of the devil, his focus
becomes how to do the bidding of the devil. But those who embrace the light of
God have the assurance of the presence of God even when they walk in darkness.
The Psalmist says, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear
no evil…” (Psalm 23:4). This speaks volumes to why you need to disentangle
yourself from barriers to the Cross and cleave to the Lord, for you to
experience the amazing dividends of God’s salvation.
Once you embrace the salvation of
the Lord, your life will be illuminated with the light of God. The light of God
in your life is the reason why the devil can’t misdirect you from the pathway
of life to death. Many are misled today because they do not have the light of
God. This is an essential dividend of salvation that guarantees a life of
purpose. Another dividend of salvation is that God arises to fight your
battles. So whenever you call upon the name of the Lord, you have divine safety
from attack because God arises to withstand your enemies.
Those that enter into partnership
with God are enabled to soar to height of glory and sit with Christ in heavenly
places. This speaks to your divine placement above principalities and powers.
You cannot exercise divine authority in Christ over spiritual wickedness if
your identity is not recognized in heaven. You run the risk of being tormented
if you wrestle with principalities using your human strength. The ultimate
dividend of salvation is to give you the power to live a holy life so you could
be rapturable. Hence, disentangle yourself from every associate of the devil
and cry for God’s mercy, to endorse you as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood
and a holy nation. Pray this prayer. “Father save my soul to be your partner
and partaker of the immeasurable riches of your Kingdom in Jesus name.”
