You intended to
harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I
could save the lives of many people. – Genesis 50:20
Life
begins at the point when we discover God’s purpose for our lives and align our
priorities to match up with His purpose. You need to understand that you were
created for a purpose; to be the solution to a specific problem or challenge.
Moses was born a deliverer for the Jews in the land of bondage. Joseph was born
with the divine mandate to be a national hero, to preserve his generation and
generations after him. So the discovery of purpose is the unveiling of the mind
of God towards us, to keep us from running off in all directions.
Those
who live a purposeful life understand that life is short and time is swift.
They do not associate themselves with people who think that life is about eating
and drinking. They have a clear sense of direction and so they keep pressing
towards it until they hit the mark. So if you are journeying through life without
a sense of purpose, you will in all probability end up at a wrong destination.
However,
those who know that live without purpose is mere existence, push themselves to
identify what God has predestined them to be. Upon the discovery of purpose,
they shove aside those things that could derail them from reaping the harvest
of fulfillment of God’s purpose for their lives. Hence, in your desire to
maximize your potential, you cannot put the pursuit of pursue on the back
burner. I pray as you become fired up to live a purposeful life, may your
efforts culminate in harvest of joy of fulfillment in Jesus name.
