FROM GOAL TO GOLD

Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck, - Genesis 41:42

People who hit the mark in what they set out to accomplish don't hazard a guess about their destination. They have a clear cut destination and take firm decision to attain a set goal; and continuously keep plodding away until they get to the end of the road. They disentangle themselves from time wasters and limit interaction with people who aren't passionate about accomplishing a set goal. Ultimately, they understand that the journey from setting a goal to winning all marbles will require persistent commitment and focus.

In Genesis 39, Joseph had a clear cut destination and divine purpose to accomplish. However, he came in contact with a destiny destroyer whose mission was to upset God's plan for his life. It wouldn't have been a wise resolution for Joseph to have affinity with a destiny destroyer who appeared in sheep clothing. You need to understand that many adversaries would go the whole hog to obstruct your stardom if you allow them as go-between you and your desired destination.

It wouldn't have been recorded concerning Joseph that he emerged a prime minister if he had ministered to the destructive need of a destiny destroyer. Allowing slothfulness, indecision, distractors and time wasters to come in the way of your stardom will keep you nowhere near your desired destination. For your ambition not to become a pipe dream, then turn down every offer that will distract and stall you from making headway to your goldmine. As you keep distraction and distractors at bay, may you draw closer and closer to your goldmine for uncommon harvest of joy of accomplishments in Jesus name.
