“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow with it.” – Proverbs 10:22
You weren’t created to increase the world population of the poor. God has not destined you to become poor but to become the divine door through which many would escape from the confines of poverty. Poverty is an agent that confines the destiny of a man to a spot and makes him handicapped from pursuing his desires. Poverty doesn’t give you the empowerment to acquire property, achieve greatness and pursue your desired cause. As an agent of destruction, poverty is commissioned with the mandate to lay heavy burden of sorrow, shame and depression upon the life of man.
God understands that without His blessings, the testimonial of your salvation will deflate His image as the All Sufficient One. A believer who lives in poverty will make many to besiege God with questions and queries of His faithfulness. Because God will not allow His name to be defamed, He willingly made Himself a curse for us. This means that any man who accepts Jesus as His Lord and Saviour is exempted from the curse of poverty, which Jesus took upon Himself on the Cross.
It’s only God’s blessings that makes rich and adds no sorrow, to enable you reach out and fetch out the world from the overwhelming influence of poverty. It takes the blessing of God for you to become God’s ministering vessel to the poor, rejected, destitute, afflicted and depressed. God’s blessing is not limited to money and material possessions alone but also includes the divine mantle through which you can dismantle the edifice of poverty which the devil has erected to house and imprison the destitute, depressed, distressed and dejected. Therefore, I pray God empower you with His blessing to make you an eternal excellence and a blessing to your generation in Jesus name.
