THE EXCELLENCY OF WISDOM

For wisdom is a defence even as money is a defence, but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the life of him who has it – Eccl. 7:12

Wisdom liberates a man from the hook of ignorance and directs him on the pathway of success, peace and life. Wisdom helps you to escape the horror of darkness and enlightens your eyes with the revelation that can get you into limelight. Without the working of wisdom, every effort into a labour leads to hard labour.

The world may present you with tests, temptations and trials but wisdom helps you to succeed when your test comes, gives you victory when tempted and keeps your head above the waters when faced with trials. When wisdom finds a place in your heart, confusion and doubt wouldn’t find settlement in your life.

While money gives you the economic power to keep you out of poverty, wisdom gives you the currency to use your economic, political or social power profitably and purposefully. The excellency of wisdom is that it keeps your feet on the path of life. With money, a man may purchase his downfall, as he acquires a combination of pleasure and pressure. But money combined with wisdom gives your economic power the right feet to walk you into peace, prosperity and purposeful living. May the Lord fill you with wisdom, to enable you accomplish sweat-less success and live purposefully, as you go this week in Jesus name.
