God cannot be impressed by a flamboyant lifestyle. If your lifestyle is skewed towards oppressing people with what you wear, eat and items you make use of, you might be a stumbling block to the spiritual stability of others.
Your appearance in God's presence shouldn't be seen as a show of fashion because God had already fashioned you in His own image. The most fashionable attire that appeals to God is the robe of righteousness worn with a sense of humility.
Every inordinate affection for things will not activate the ordinance of God for your life. When you over stretch yourself to attend to your body and outlook without enriching your inner man, you will not have the spiritual stamina to withstand the devil in the day of adversity. If you are overwhelmed by inordinate affection for things and cares of this world, you need to turn a new leaf and align with God's will, knowing that moderation is appealing to God. May your heart seek to live a moderate and appealing lifestyle to God in Jesus name.
