And let the beauty and delightfulness and favour of the Lord our God be upon us… - Ps. 90:17
Whenever it pleases God to erase a man’s season of shame, He beautifies him with glory and honour. When beauty replaces ashes in the life of a man, it gives him a divine assurance that His Redeemer lives. It establishes the faithfulness and clemency of the Lord to the works of His hands. And because you are not an abandoned project under the Lord’s mighty hand, He will turn your ashes to beauty in Jesus name.
Job was a classic example of a man who was overwhelmed with ashes. While undergoing the severe agony and pain that was inflicted on him by the devil, he poured ashes upon himself. He had every reason to be depressed and sorrowful but God remembered him, wiped off his ashes and beautified him.
No matter what may represent ashes in your life today, it shall give way for the beauty of the Lord in your life in the name of Jesus. Inasmuch as God had fashioned you for His glory and not as a laughingstock for the enemy, He will address your case and cause the heavens to open over you, to rain His beauty and glory upon you in Jesus name.
