FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT

And the light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it – John 1:4

Darkness has nothing promising to offer a man than to make his life miserable. Therefore, to move out of a life of misery to honour, it becomes necessary for a man to be transited from darkness to light. The emergence of light on the scene of darkness makes darkness to fade away. This explains the supremacy of light over darkness.

Many lives are trapped in darkness and are maneuvered out of the plan and purpose of God for their lives. The devil’s children have the devil’s luck: The devil will always present some gullible minds with offers that they find difficult to refuse, because of their taste and hunger of inordinate pleasure. When a person thinks and feels satisfied with the temporal and destructive pleasures of darkness, the gate way of his heart will be closed to prevent the light of God from gaining entrance.

It is important to note that the surest way to live a life pleasing to God is to separate oneself from the attributes and works of darkness: bitterness, anger, envy, lust; inordinate passion and self-indulgence leading to a life of misery and dishonor in the sight of God. Steer clear of every form of darkness as you celebrate the birth of  Jesus. Jesus is the Light of the world. Associate yourself with Him and you will become a light bearer, bringing hope and joy to many who grope in darkness. May your destiny not get trapped in darkness; rather, may it shine brighter and brighter as you advance in life in Jesus name.
