RISING UP TALL AFTER A FALL

Rejoice not against me, o my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. – Micah 7:8

You don’t have to concede defeat when you fall. Whenever you fall in your pursuit to reach your goal, you are never left with the sole option to swallow the bitter pill of shame. As you aspire to reach the finishing line, falling before you cross the line does not certify you a failure but gives you the fighting chance to brace up again. When most people fall, they are swift to concede defeat and admit their failure.

Nothing stops you from rising up tall after a fall. The choice to rise up and reach for your goal gives you a renewed reason to keep hope alive. With a renewed hope to rise again, you can begin to soar high again. Usually when you fall, people around you will want to make you a laughingstock. If you allow your fall to break you, you will never be able to put your acts together to begin afresh and silence your mockers.

Enemies who are interested in your downfall can be silenced if you can prove to them that you are unstoppable regardless of their imagination. You can do this by rising up again. The mouth of your mockers would be shut if you choose to rise up again when they had concluded that there is no hope of rising up for you. No matter the magnitude of the fall you had had before now, choose to rise up again. Don’t opt out of the race. See that you get to the finishing line. May you never drop by the wayside as you run to reach your goal in Jesus name.
