You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because He commits himself to You… - Isaiah 26:3
Your life is a reflection of your innermost thought. That’s why it is very essential for you not to downplay the power of your thought. The Bible says as a man thinks in his heart so he is. What takes the stage in your heart can either put you in the spotlight or keep you at the backstage. Therefore, you can’t afford to leave your thought to the influence of deception, false imagination, negative conceptions or evil imagination. Whatsoever you allow to influence your thought influences your life. Hence, you need to stay clear of every atmosphere and association that will pollute your thinking towards success, greatness and pursuit of your priorities.
If you keep turning your priorities over in your mind, your mind will be powered and refreshed with the zeal to pursue your dreams. This will help you to keep unprofitable pursuits out of your laundry list of pursuits. Giving thought to your priorities helps you not to lose sight of what comes high in your agenda. People that are off-track in the scheme of things usually fail to give thought to what will yield the maximum return in their pursuit of greatness. In spite of the dozens of requests that besieged the throne of God, His spiritual sensitivity is not impaired – His beloved and elects rank first in the list of beneficiaries of His grace and favour. This is because He is mindful of them and would not hold His generosity towards them in abeyance. Same attribute should apply to your life.
The moment a man cannot puzzle out his mission in life, anything that comes his way appears satisfactory. His thought will be impaired and would not be able to set his affection on the things that matters most in his life. Chiefly, you will find overwhelming peace if you allow God to take the stage in your life. If God is not topmost in your priority and thought, your mind may be boggled and polluted with ungodly thoughts. May your heart be poised to mull over the things that patterns to excellence, greatness and divine satisfaction in Jesus name.
