And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, developing and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.- Phil 1:6
Running without aiming to reach the finish line is a purposeless adventure. As a wise runner, you need to train your sights to finish well. While it is good to start well, it is much more significant to keep on track in order to finish well. As a purposeful runner, you cannot afford to lose sights of your goal. Bear in mind that quitters end up being bitter. Hence, you can’t afford to chicken out when the race is at beginning phase.
Many that begin the race of life call it quits because they allow circumstances to determine the outcome of their life. When the going gets tough, tough people continue to push through. They make efforts to excel against all odds. If you allow your challenges to put the brakes on your pursuit, you will be unable to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny.
Some of the followers of Jesus dissociated themselves from Him because they could not endure sound doctrine. They wanted it rosy all the way. When people are unwilling to take the rough with the smooth, they tend to sign off from pursuing their mission in life. What is that assignment, mission or project before you, which its completion pays off? Don't allow it fall through the cracks. Until you get to the end of the road, it will be too early to sign off now. May you find grace to accomplish all your dreams to a flourishing finish in Jesus name
