The greatest and most
profitable partnership in life is when Jesus lives in you and you live and have
your being in Him. The presence of God in the life of a man makes him to be at
one with God. And whosoever is at one with God is more than a majority. Being
at one with God signifies partnership that could only be established by
covenant with God. Because Jesus knows that your strength alone will fail you,
He seeks your permission for His in-dwelling in your heart. The moment you prepare
your heart and make it spiritually hygiene, Christ will make His abode in you.
Undoubtedly, Christ in you
makes you a representative of heaven. Those who
are ambassadors for Christ aren’t just nominal believers but those who
are true image of Christ. They reflect Christ because He takes residence in
their hearts and presides over the affairs of their lives. Christ in you also makes
you a repository of the riches of heaven. Without Christ in you,
the virtues of heaven and the power to prevail over the forces of hell will not
reside in you. This translates to the fact that the riches and blessings of
heaven will not find expression in your life if Christ is at a distance from
you.
Finally, Christ in you is
the reason for your living. Life
begins the moment the life of Christ flows into your heart. Living apart from
Christ brings a man under the oversight of the devil. A soul without Christ is
living helplessly within the danger zone of hell and shadow of death. Hence, it
is expedient for you to accept Jesus into your heart, so your destiny will not
be subject to manipulation of the kingdom of darkness. As you open the door of
our heart today, may the Lord find you worthy to be fit for His habitation, in
order to establish you, empower you and elevate you to enviable height of glory
in Jesus name.
