ACTIVITY IS NOT NECESSARILY ACCOMPLISHMENT

But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, - Luke 10:41

Many people seem to busy themselves with activities that do not culminate in productivity. The fact that someone appears to be busy does not necessarily translate to accomplishment of great result. Until your busyness adds to the bottom line, it will just be mere activities without gains of accomplishment. While some people get bogged down with tasks that do not match up with their goals, others who are discrete enough to know where to draw the line and stay focus on what matters.

Consequently, any activity that does not align with God’s purpose for your life or contributes to the bottom line will keep you off the track and make you to loaf away your time and destiny. The merchants who were trading in the temple during the ministry days of Jesus were busy working at variance with God’s purpose. They made themselves oppositions to the mandate of God by pursuing the things which drove Jesus up the wall. When Jesus saw their foolishness, He read them the riot act and dislodged them from polluting the temple.

Also, when you consider the account of Martha and Mary, the Bible says that Martha was passionate about the pursuit of mundane affairs while Mary chose to sit at the feet of the Master. It won’t be controversial to know that Mary will blossom with insight of the word of God and become fortified with the power of God while her sister will merely be trailing behind her. Hence, those who leverage their potential and channel it appropriately blossom with accomplishments. They focus on accomplishment and rake in the harvest of productive efforts. Hence, I pray your heart begin to zero in on what matters for maximum impact and realization of your dreams and aspiration in Jesus name
