THE LEADER WITH MOMENTUM

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Phil. 3:14

Leaders who maintain their position on the front line don't allow anything to drive them to despair. They keep pushing ahead in spite of opposition. For a leader to hit the mark, he must be resolved not to hit the brakes until he gets to the finish line. Hence, if a leader bails out of his pursuits because he considers them mission impossible, he will certainly be undermining his credential to set the right precedence.

Apostle Paul knew that oppositions awaited him down the road to fulfilling his ministry. He deemed it necessary to keep pressing towards the ultimate mark. It does not come as a surprise that Apostle Paul fought a good fight of faith and finished his course without docking out of his mission. Unlike Demas, a ministry partner of Apostle Paul, who went off course because he prized materialism and worldly affections above God's kingdom, Apostle Paul rather forged ahead and was on track to the end.

Clearly, leaders with momentum possess the potential to deliver optimum result. They lay aside weights that could grease the skids for a low performance. They identify who to shove aside in order to stay ahead. And when it appears that they cannot continue to make headway, they head to the Way Maker, Jesus, for strength to mount up with wings as eagles. Hence, I pray your zeal to make impact and positive influence will not depreciate but rather compound for continuous harvest of great accomplishments in Jesus name
